You sighed as you sat down on a barrel. Matthias had refused to tell you anything about what had happened last night, and none of the crew would either. Matthias must have told them not to spill, you thought. And I can't remember a thing.
You just sat there for the longest time; chin in your hand, elbow on your knee, and your knee on your other knee. How could you get someone to tell you? Bribery? Hmm, that might work…

~*~PLAN A: BRIBERY---In motion~*~

"Hey, Berwald?"
You walked up to the tall Swede and said the words in the sweetest voice you could muster. "Can I ask you a favor?" Berwald looked down at you, slightly concerned at first on what your favor might be. He bent down so that he was eyelevel with you, and then nodded.
"Will you pretty, pretty please, with a cherry on top, tell me what happened last night? No one else will speak to me about the subject," You looked at him with a sweet and innocent smile and pleading eyes. Berwald stared at you with his hard gaze, not giving anything away. Time to start plan A. You stretched out your arms towards him.
"I'll give you a hug,"
He, again, stared at you for a minute before wrapping his own arms around you and standing full height. Your feet had to be at least six inches off the ground. You just sort of hung there for a moment before hugging the Swede back.
"So does this mean you'll tell me?" You asked hopefully. After a minute or two of awkward silence, Berwald set you back down, patted your head, and said with a complete poker face: "Nope."
You had been tricked.
Damn.

~*~PLAN A: BRIBERY---Failed~*~

Back on the thinking barrel, same position. Thinking. What to do, what to do… you wondered. You quickly sat up and snapped your fingers. Sacrifice? Maybe.

~*~PLAN B: SACRIFICE---In motion~*~

You stood on the very top of the mast, the next morning. The men had formed a small crowd at the bottom, trying to get you to come down. "_____! Come down! You'll hurt yourself!" One called. "We'll send someone to come and get you!" said another. "Not a chance," you told yourself, "I ain't comin' down until Matthias tells me what went on that night."
Speak of the devil. Matthias had just come out from below deck. He wore a loosely buttoned white shirt that was messily tucked into his dark brown pants, obviously in a hurry when trying to get dressed. Berwald followed close behind him.
"______!" He called up to you, joining the men at the base. "What are you doing up there!" You just stuck you tongue out at him. Matthias sighed. "Don't move. I'm gonna come and get'cha." And he began to climb up the mast the same way you had done. You were quick to grab one of the many things you had in your pocket and chuck it at him. Direct hit to the head.
"What the hell?!" Matthias cried as the 'fork' fell off his golden, fluffed up locks as he looked up at you. "What was that?!" You smiled at him. "My ninja weapon!" Berwald picked up the object when it hit the deck. "It's a fork," he said.
"Why do you have a fork?" Matthias said.
"To make sure you don't come up here until you tell me what happened that night!" Matthias sighed. "So that's what this is all about,"
"Now," you stood up straighter and held up a couple kitchen utensils in between your fingers. "Tell me or I'll jump."
Matthias' eyes grew large. "You'll WHAT?!" You smirked down at him. "You heard me right. I'll jump," Matthias started to climb again. "Don't you dare! I'm coming to get you." A butter knife whizzed past his head. "You can come up when you tell me,"
You walked out to the end of the pole that held up the sail, balancing very carefully. "I'll do it,"
Matthias jumped down off the mast so that he was on the deck again. "Ok, I'm down. Now just come back slowly and don't—'' The ship lurched on an unnaturally strong wave in the calm water. Everyone gasped as you lost your balance and fell towards the blue water.
Although in shock, Matthias was quickest to react. He quickly ran to the side of the side of the ship that you were falling from.
The wind rushed through your ears as you headed toward the sea. You couldn't tell how far up you were. Your back was facing downward. You shut your eyes. Maybe this was all a dream? No, it couldn't be. This was real. How did you get yourself in this situation? You had never really planned on jumping…never thought this would happen. Stupid wave. Why did it just happen to come up at that particular moment?
Well, this could be painful... you thought. I've heard that water can hurt if you just fall right onto it…feels like your hitting glass or something. Glancing over to your side, you saw the ship flash past, and a firm hand grab your back. You were surprised to see Matthias above you, then himself under you. The impact of the water never came.
Next thing you knew, you were at the surface of the salty water, gasping for breath. Matthias' head popped up soon after yours, at an uncomfortably close distance. His hair... "Wha--?"
You were cut off quickly when Matthias wrapped one arm around your waste and put the other on the back of your head. He pulled you close to him. If this was meant to be a hug, it was kind of awkward, given the fact that you both were in the water and had to kick to keep yourselves up.
"God, ________! Don't you dare do that ever again! You scared the shit outta me!" But you weren't looking at the Dane in front of you. You were looking down into the clear blue water, at the Matthias' chest. His white shirt was completely soaked and therefore…see-through. A massive blush came up onto your cheeks.
Matthias followed you gaze with his eyes, and then smirked. "Tell me if I'm mistaken _______, but it would seem that you're checking me out~!"
You immediately pushed him away and sent a giant wave of water in his direction.

~*~PLAN B: SACRIFICE---Failed (with embarrassment)~*~

You sat with your face in your hands on the same barrel that you had first sat on. Already, you had gone through…oh god knows how many plans to try and get someone to tell you. All had ended in, you guessed it, failure. I have no idea what to do.
It had been a couple days since you all had gotten drunk, and by now you were completely out of ideas.

~*~~*~

A couple hours later, you found yourself in the cellar of the ship, helping yourself the men's rum. After all the thinking you had done, you deserve a little break right?
You stayed there until you were joined by the rest of the crew, who were a bit surprised to see you. Figuring what the heck, they joined in with your drunken self.
Not long after that, you were all singing pirate songs…again. It looked very similar to that one night in the pub…Wait. You could use this.
If I make this night close to what I think might have happened the other night…then I could probably figure out what happened!
You had to keep yourself sober though.
The night went on. The plan was going pretty well. You had stayed sober. Good. Now all you ad to do was find Matthias. You scanned the room and your eyebrows furrowed when you discovered that Matthias wasn't in the room. Odd, you thought, I could have sworn I just say him a few minutes ago… You got up from where you were sitting.
I'll just go look for him then. No one will notice I'm gone, given the fact that they're all drunk as hell. You stepped lightly up the stairs out to the deck, leaving the chorus of many voices singing "We are the pirates that don't do anything" behind. God, they were probably so drunk that they wouldn't notice a bomb dropping right on top of their heads.
…Ok, maybe they would notice THAT, but you get the point.
As you stepped out into the cool, night air, you were a little surprised to see Mathias just leaning against the mast, as if he had been waiting for something. "Ah. ______. There you are. I was beginning to wonder when you were going to come out here."
"And why were you waiting?" You asked, raising an eyebrow. If it wasn't as dark as it was, you would have seen the slight shade of pink creep up on the Dane's cheeks while he rubbed the back of his neck. "Well…" he began.
Before you could reply, Matthias strode over, embraced you in a hug and kissed you…right on the lips. You eyes widened in shock. Was he really…? No, this had to be some sort of dream. Yeah, that's it. All a dream. Why the hell would Matthias actually be kissing you?
Well if it's just a dream, psht, what could happen? You kissed back, letting your arms fall around his neck. Yup, this definitely had to be a dream. It sure felt like one.
Eventually, the need for air got the better of the both of you. You pulled away, panting slightly. "T-this is all a dream right?" you said through heavy breaths. Matthias looked at you for a moment with slight confusion on his face, and then let out a hearty laugh. "If you want to believe that idea, then sure."
You could tell in the way he said it.

This was most certainly not a dream.
Yay! :D The second one! :iconfinallyplz: ...I think this will be it for this series (actually there was never supposed to be a second one XD) , cuz I'm completely out of ideas! D:

Anyway, I hope you guys like this one as much as you did the first one. I, personally, don't think it turned out as well as the first one, but that's just me.
